The Cornstore; superb views from this spacious double/twin en-suite room

The Cornstore has superb views in 3 directions. It is a beautiful spacious and airy first floor en-suite room. The beds can be super-king sized double or twin. It has superb views to the east over the moor, and south over the woodland with hills behind, and to the stars. The Cornstore has it’s own separate entrance via external stone steps on the south side, so you can come and go as you please, or just sit out in the sun at the top of the steps on a tiny balcony area, enjoying the view and complete peace and quiet. The twin beds can be zipped together to make a super-king sized double. The zip means there is no chance you can fall down the middle. The mattresses are 1500 pocket spring for a wonderfully comfortable night’s sleep. Each room boasts free-sat TV/DVD, hairdryer, kettle and a well stocked refreshment tray. As the name suggests, this room was originally for feed storage and also housed a farm labourer or two. It was probably quite warm as it was directly over the cowshed, with it’s cobbled floors and wooden stalls. Initially there were only windows at the front of the building, the windows at the back were put in a great deal later. The door to the garden and the steps were put in by us.
