The Stable is a very spacious ground floor en-suite B&B room, with open views to the east, over the stream and the moor, and windows to the west to catch the evening sun. This part of the old stone building was a stable and a cowshed, with cobbled floors and wooden stalls and doors, but it’s a lot more comfortable and accommodating now. This bedroom has two external entrances, one to the garden at the back, and the other to the front, so you can come and go as you wish. This room can be used as a twin, double or triple. It has twin beds in the main room, which can be joined together to make a super-king sized double. The twin mattresses can be zipped together so you don’t fall between the beds when it is made up as a double. Additionally there is a single bed on an adjoining room with a lockable door between, so this can form a comfortable three person unit. The mattresses are all 1500 pocket sprung, to give you the most comfortable of sleeps. From the single room is the door to the garden and a mini patio. This faces east, with uninterrupted views of the garden and moor; lovely for sitting in the early morning sun, admiring the view, listening to the birds and watching the stream burble along over the waterfall. Each of our rooms boasts free-sat TV/DVD, a hairdryer, kettle and a well stocked refreshment tray.
